PIC: Our First Vacation/ Our 5th Attended Wedding @ Cocquitlam, BC
I’m a square and I follow f**yeahcutecoules. I totally like to look at the pics and see how many people reblog them, correlating it to my relationship with aaron. However the more I read it, the more I become more annoyed. All I see is “we were once separated, but now he is my everything” or “He’s the man that has changed my life” or “1 year to forever babe…” Yadadadada…
I can’t help but feel sad for those people. Yeah, I totally have a boyfriend and I’m truly in love with him, but if it wasn’t for God then Aaron and I would never be together. After 4 years of friendship, seeing each others rock bottoms, growing spiritually with one another, God allowed us to admire each others love for Him to develop into this 3+ year relationship.
I’m not saying we’re awesome and everyone should be like us… no, but what I want to get out is that God had seen our faith and brought us together. Though we are far, far, far from perfect, our faith in Him allows us to continually withstand, uplift, and support one another physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
This is what those f-yeahcouples are missing, Him, the Author of love. A love that does not fail because He showed us the epitome of love through His sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. That’s what we should be modeling our love off of.
I thank God for giving me a boyfriend (Lord-willing, a husband) who supports me in my personal walk with Him… God, you’re the best because you’ve shown me a tangible love that I’ve never felt, but I know Your love far surpasses what I know…. so THANK YOU!
